Mary Lou Ciccone, VMDDr. Ciccone, our Chief of Staff, has been practicing small animal medicine at Laurelton Veterinary Hospital for over 18 years. She grew up in Point Pleasant, New Jersey. Dr. Ciccone attended Monmouth College, graduating in 1987, and then went on to pursue her VMD degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 1992. After graduation, she practiced at Sea Girt Animal Hospital.

In her free time, Dr. Ciccone studies Tae Kwon Do, a modern Korean martial art similar to karate. She has three dogs, three cats, two birds, and a fish.

Michelle Panté, DVMDr. Michelle Panté grew up in Hazlet, New Jersey and currently lives in Jackson, NJ. She received her undergraduate degree from Rutgers University in 2006, and her DVM degree from Oklahoma State University in 2011.

Before joining our team in December 2015, Dr. Panté practiced at Cedars Veterinary Hospital here in Brick, NJ. She enjoys all aspects of general veterinary medicine. Outside of work, she enjoys horseback riding, gardening, and fishing. At home she has a Labrador, a German shepherd mix, three cats, two horses, a turtle, and chickens.

Thomas Bonura, DVMRecently retired, Dr. Bonura practiced at Laurelton Veterinary Hospital for over 25 years. A native of Yonkers, New York, he currently resides in Monmouth County, New Jersey. Dr. Bonura completed his undergraduate studies at Cornell University in 1971 and then went on to earn his DVM degree from the University of the Philippines in 1976. Previously, he practiced veterinary medicine at Lowell Animal Hospital and Ocean County Veterinary Hospital.

At home, Dr. Bonura has a menagerie of pets, including a cat, chickens, ducks, and pigs. He enjoys gardening and farming for food production (without chemicals and livestock antibiotics). He is the proud grandfather of four and relishes time spent with his children and grandchildren.
